Phase 1: Underwater Wood – Nature’s Hidden Treasure

In addition to using wood sourced from responsibly managed forests, we work with a rare and remarkable material: underwater wood.

These logs have naturally settled in riverbeds over time, carried and buried by flowing water and natural events. Protected beneath the surface for decades, sometimes centuries, they develop distinctive textures, colors, and strength.

By recovering this preserved resource, we reduce the need to cut down new trees and give new life to wood that nature has quietly protected. This process allows us to honor the environment while offering materials rich in character and history.
